About Kathy
Kathy McStay is a businesswoman with an instinct for entrepreneurship and a talent for marketing. She brings decades of experience as a business owner and visual merchandising to selling fine homes for clients in the Boston & Metrowest area.
The businesses she founded and ran, Fleur de Lis Designs, Wrentham Antiques Marketplace and Staged Homes by Kathy, gave Kathy extensive experience in merchandising, project management and home staging. Operating these successful concerns also honed her skills in customer service, senior downsizing, event planning and promotions, as well as offering a discerning eye for online marketing and photography.
Over the last decade, she has worked full time in real estate starting with Hammond Residential and now with eXp Realty, an innovative, icloud based, top-ranked company with many industry awards and recognitions. Kathy has gained a reputation for professionalism, organization, responsiveness and strong customer connection and service. Her sense of style and flair for design are widely recognized. She stages homes to sell by highlighting the home’s attributes while appealing to a broad, prospective audience. First she depersonalizes the home then creatively mixes the homeowner’s existing furnishings while adding decorative accessories and accent pieces.
Kathy first developed her passion for selling, merchandising and style at The Chamberlain School of Retailing, majoring in Fashion and Interior Design. She later studied at the Cass School of Floral Design, earning a prestigious mentor-ship at the Floral Design Shop at the Ritz Carlton in Boston. Her floral designs graced fine weddings throughout the Greater Boston area. She later attended classes and seminars in art, design and appraisal at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Kathy has high energy level and a community spirit. She spends her spare time with family and friends, playing tennis and gardening.
